What’s good

• Display & design: The HOT 60i features a 6.7″ IPS LCD screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate and up to ~700 nits peak brightness — a strong offering in its class. The phone is also impressively slim at 7.7 mm thick and weighs around 188 g. 

• Performance & storage: It’s powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 Ultimate chip (12 nm) paired with up to 8 GB RAM and 256 GB internal storage — generous storage at this price.

• Battery & charging: A 5,160 mAh battery with support for 45 W fast wired charging helps it stay relevant. 

• Extras: Side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm headphone jack, IP64 rating for dust & splash resistance — all nice touches usually found in higher segments. 

• Camera: A 50 MP main rear sensor (plus auxiliary lenses) and 8 MP front camera — decent for everyday use. 

• Value pricing (Philippines): Initially around ₱7,499 for the 4GB+256GB variant, but promos have pushed it below ₱6,000. 

 Things to consider / trade-offs

• Resolution vs competitors: The display is HD+ (720p-ish) rather than full HD — so sharpness may fall behind some rivals with 1080p panels. 4G only (for this variant): This model uses the Helio G81 and is 4G-only. If you’re looking for 5G connectivity you’ll have to consider other variants or models. 

• Build materials: While slim and stylish, it uses a plastic back/frame (glass front) which is okay for the price but not premium. 

• Software & longevity: Although running Android 15 with XOS 15, updates and long-term support may not match flagship-tier phones.

• Extras vs flagship features: Some very high-end features (e.g., ultra-high resolution OLED, top-tier camera optics, premium build) are understandably absent given the price.

Who it’s best for

If you are in the Philippines (or similar markets) and looking for a budget smartphone with a smooth screen, large storage, solid battery and fast charging, the HOT 60i is a very compelling pick. It works well for general everyday use, media consumption, casual gaming, social media and more.

If you’re more of a power-user (heavy gaming, ultra-sharp display, 5G needed, premium build) then you may want to stretch your budget a bit more or look at higher-tier alternatives

• Delivery Fee: There is a flat rate of ₱50 for all orders. Delivery is FREE for orders that are ₱1,000 and above!
• Delivery Schedule: Orders placed before 12:00 PM will be delivered on the same day. Orders placed after 12:00 PM will be delivered on the next day.

Returns, Refunds, and Exchange Policy (Gadgets)

• Defective/Dead on Arrival (DOA): If the item is Dead on Arrival or has a factory defect, it may be exchanged or refunded within 7 days from the date of receipt.
• Warranty: The official manufacturer's warranty applies (e.g., 1 year for phones). We can assist in coordinating the repair/service claim, but the manufacturer is responsible for the final repair/replacement decision.
• Requirements:The gadget must be returned in its complete, original packaging with all included accessories (charger, cable, manual).Exchanges or returns will not be accepted if the item shows signs of physical damage, liquid damage, or misuse by the customer.The original sales invoice/receipt must be included.
